Picea pungens glauca
Colorado basin strain from the bluest trees known. The blue dusting of the needles disappears temporarily with transplanting but soon returns in intensities from cobalt to silver. More drought resistant than most Spruce and one of the few plants which horses won't gnaw. Colorados are aggressive growers and hardy from coast to coast.
