Eleagnus umbellata
These nitrogen-fixing super fruits have a reputation for wandering away from their intended location. Can be useful in permaculture guilds to raise the nitrogen in poor soils. They are high in lycopenes which is known to decrease risk of certain cancers. The fruit is tart like pomegranates or sour cherries.
