Prunus cerasus
Created at the University of Saskatchewan for cold weather production, these hardy fruit trees will produce with abundance in frigid zone 2. Early blooming allows for harvesting of sweet, tart fruit in late July. Perfect for fresh eating or canning. Ideal for gardens with limited space. Self pollinating, but will produce better in the company of other sour cherry friends. Prefers well drained loamy soils.
