Sorbus alnifolia
This has become one of our favourite trees at Golden Bough Tree Farm. Our mature specimens produce an abundance of yellow speckled orange-red berries that linger on the tree into winter. They are greedily enjoyed by Cedar Wax Wings, Robins and squirrels. Small clusters of creamy white flowers are cheerful in the spring. Attractive pyramidal form. Simple leaves are ovate, serrated, and shiny. Full sun to partial shade. Prefers places away from busy roads and pollution.
